Terms of Service for FrameSource Sourcing

These terms cover use of the FrameSource Sourcing inquiry pages. The desk is an independent sourcing partner. It is not a manufacturer or authorized dealer, and it is not an affiliate of brands named in buyer searches. Sending a brief does not create a purchase order and does not appoint the desk as the buyer agent for construction contracts.

You agree to describe the building you want compared: use, dimensions, loads you know, jurisdiction, quantity, destination and the scope boundary. If a cell is unknown, mark it unknown. Do not present a guessed wind speed or snow load as a measured site value. The desk may decline to forward a brief that mixes a shell price with an installed price as if they were the same purchase.

Quotations, when a factory provides them, belong to that factory. FrameSource Sourcing does not warrant price, availability, code compliance, delivery week or fitness for a site it has not been shown. Drawings and calculations must be reviewed by the professionals the project retains. Standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360 and AWS D1.1 are references you or the supplier may cite. Citation on this website is not a certification held by the desk.

Optional budget figures and supplier preferences are buyer notes. They are not offers, not accepted prices, and not ratings of factories. A preference for a premium, mid-range or budget-friendly source does not require you to hold a current quotation. The desk will not publish a percentage saving against a market price.

You are responsible for the accuracy of files you submit and for rights in any drawing you describe. Do not upload confidential data you are not allowed to share with potential suppliers. The desk may share the brief with factories asked to quote the alternative product. It does not promise that every factory will answer.

The sourcing benefit shown on the site is limited to the wording on the page: free sourcing support and up to 3 percent for eligible orders, confirmed after review of product, quantity, destination and sourcing requirements. It is not a standing discount and not a promise that an order qualifies.

Pages may change as the checklist is corrected. Continued use after a change means you accept the current text. If you do not accept these limits, do not send a brief. Questions about a submitted file can be sent again through the contact form, quoting enough of the original specification to identify it. These terms are a service boundary, not a construction contract.
